Preccon Robotics has an eye on its production.
We are expanding our offering with application-oriented solutions for industrial imaging.
Dear customers, Many production processes are dependent today on precise optical control and quality assurance. In the future, we can support you in this area. Our subsidiary Seritec GmbH develops, implements and manufactures industrial imaging systems which offer an entire range of advantages.
- a high and exact inspection speed
- reliable 100% monitoring of your products
- an increase in the performance of your plants
- protection against product liability
Whether working independently or together with robotics, automation offers you, through imaging, the possibility of checking and meeting quality requirements 100%. Very often many automation solutions are going to be realized only by imaging; for example through the identification of the position and condition of components. With each project, our attention is on the specific requirements of our customers for whom we solve even the most unique problems.

Application examples for the use of intelligent Seritec imaging systems.
The industrial imaging systems which we manufacture are deployed in the areas of quality assurance with the focus on surface inspection, completeness check and measurement technology. The possibilities of modern imaging are, however, not even close to being exhausted.
With our developments, we help you to optimize your production processes. The target-oriented automation of visual inspection using one or more cameras is more reliable, quicker and more economical than the human eye.

Talk held at the KNF Practitioner’s forum-Automation - Willingness to cooperate above and beyond company boundaries
Dissertation by Hartmut Lindner and Nina Rumpeltin / Preccon Robotics GmbH: Robotics simulation identifies weak spots and shortens installation times
The closing talk at the event was given by Preccon Robotics GmbH in Bayreuth which is specialised in the area of the simulation of robotics, their control and structural systems. Hartmut Lindner and Nina Rumpeltin from Preccon’s Bayreuth Founders’ Centre demonstrated, with a live example of the quick modelling and programming, a robotics simulation including an injection moulding machine.
The benefit of this system lies in the fact that it can be determined whether or not the technology is really suitable as a solution for the company’s demands before investing in expensive automation technology. The simulation helps to identify and correspondingly to take weak spots into account structurally. Through the simulation of the offline programming, it is also possible to install the technical plants after the conception phase in a fraction of the usual time and to integrate them into the production.
The movement processes of the robot can be directly adopted from the simulation into the actual plant. In this way, the robotics specialist from Bayreuth offers an interesting competitive edge for its customers.

Success at Automatica in Munich
Preccon Robotics was represented at Automatica in Munich from 10 to 13 June this year.
With 870 exhibitors and approximately 30.000 visitors it is one of the most important fairs in the field of robotics and automation. The exhibition in Munich was as much a success for you as trade visitors as it was for us. The success for Preccon Robotics GmbH and our associate company Seritec GmbH was so great that we have already reserved a booth in hall B2 for 2010. We will even double the size of our booth and optimize our location to again welcome numerous customers and new visitors.
Many interested companies paid a visit to our booth and took advantage of the atmosphere of the exhibition to let us convince them of our top services. We were able to cultivate existing customer relations and welcome new customers. (70% of our visitors were prospective customers, which was extremely satisfying.)
We had many interesting discussions with prospective customers coming from European countries as well as Russia, China and India to name just a few. We were extremely pleased with the worldwide interest in Preccon Robotics GmbH. We were, furthermore, able to establish intersectoral contacts. With our technology and experience, we were not only able to inspire the innumerable trade visitors with automotive background, but also new customers in the food industry and the aerospace industry.
We would like to thank you for the discussions we were able to have with you and hope to be able to pick up where we left off in 2010!.
